Top Five Most Outrageous Grammy Moments.

The 2021 Grammy’s were shown on the 15th March 2021! Being one of the first awards shows to go ahead since the Coronavirus pandemic we thought we would take a look back on the top 5 most outrageous Grammy Moments!

5. Adele’s Tribute to George Michael.

At the 2017 Grammy Awards show Adele wowed fans with a stunning tribute to George Michael covering his ballad “Fast Love.” A quarter of the way through her performance the “Someone Like You” singer had to stop her performance noticing she was in the wrong key she immediately wears and then goes on to say “I’m sorry, I can’t mess this up for him. I’m sorry. I can’t I’m sorry for swearing.”

Here we see Adele performing another one of her performances but in a more relaxed manner.

4. M.I.A Flies Pregnant?

Nominated for hit single “Paper Planes” Hip Hop singer M.I.A was not missing out on an opportunity to perform at the 2009 Grammys where she sang her top single “Swagga Like Us.” Shocking fans whilst dancing around the stage 9 months pregnant, the singer’s performance is one to undoubtedly be known throughout Grammy history.

3. A New Form of Acceptance.

Being known as acceptors of diversity and encouraging people to be themselves it shouldn’t have surprised people When the pop duo, Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun, accepted their Grammy award for ‘Best Pop Duo/Group Performance ’for their song ‘Stressed Out’ in nothing but their underwear.

2.An Egg-cellent Arrival For the Monsters.

Lady Gaga astounded her ‘little monsters’ at the 2011 Grammy awards when she was carried down the red carpet in an alien-like giant egg. Rumoured to have encased herself within the giant egg 72 days prior to the show and just goes to show just what lengths the unique singer would go to in order to surprise her fans.

Gaga always ensures to put on a top-tier performance for her little monsters.

1.Madonna Strips Down.

Arguably the most outrageous and controversial act to happen on the Grammy’s red carpet was when Madonna turned up to the 2015 awards with her bare bottom out. The Music Icon being 56 at the time of this act surprised viewers and fans all over the world in her corseted-body. Suit and matching mini-skirt. The confidence was glowing off of her when she was going around deliberately lifting up her skirt to show off her thong underneath the skirt. People were wondering whether this was to promote her new single at the time “Living for Love” or just because of how the pop sensation could get away with anything she wanted due to her masses of fame.

Even in her old performances Madonna, Queen of Pop, was never afraid to show a bit of skin.

The Grammys have seen massive of outrageous acts happen throughout the years and there is no doubt to anyone that it will carry on to amaze and astound viewers in years to come.
