New Netflix Original series, Ginny and Georgia featuring a young mum and her daughter on the run with their lives, recently took to our screens and fans immediately began to rave about the new series. However, one famous figure took to twitter to have her say on the new show following the life of mum Georgia and daughter Ginny after having been mentioned in the series in a negative light.
In the final episode of the show when the mother and daughter are having an argument over Ginny’s love life, Ginny viciously spits out “Why do you care?” You go through men faster than Taylor Swift.” Which is clearly a dig at the heartbreak singer-songwriters past relationship fails which have been very visible to the public eye.
Immediately fans of the singer took to social media platforms such as Twitter to defend the singer until Taylor Swift herself took out and had her say on the controversial comment. The folk singer struck out and tweeted “Hey Ginny & Georgia, 2010 called and it wants its lazy, deeply sexist joke back. How about we stop degrading hard working women by defining this horse sh*t funny.” However the singer did not stop there and went on to personally @ Netflix saying “Also @netflix after Miss Americana this outfit doesn’t look cute on you”

Fans immediately rushed to Swift’s tweet replying with comments such as “I LOVE YOU” and praising the singer.
